2004 Lincoln Town Car With Less Than 8,000 Miles Is Old-School American Luxury

2004 Lincoln Town Car With Less Than 8,000 Miles Is Old-School American Luxury 14 Jan 2021, 7:07 UTC · by Describing a 2004 car as old is pretty zoomer of me at first glance, but I don’t really agree with that point of view. You see, the Lincoln Town Car is old-school American luxury in my mind because of the Panther platform, introduced by Ford in the late 1970s with the LTD and Mercury Marquis. 58 photos It boggles my mind how the Blue Oval kept the Panther going for 33 years even though it was close to being discontinued in the 1980s. I’m similarly surprised by the Lincoln lineup for the 2021 model year because the MKZ and Continental have both been discontinued in favor of sport utility vehicles. In other words, the Town Car marks the end of an era for the American luxury brand, and it doesn’t get more luxurious than the Ultimate trim level.
